The next edition of the Young Cinema Art, World Student Film Festival is approaching rapidly. This year we will meet between the 7th -10th of October 2010 in Płock.

The Young Cinema Art, World Student Film Festival is a intercultural film event, creating a bridge between countries and continents. Each year, best student works are presented in Warsaw and each year the best young film adepts representing a geographical variety are awarded with the Golden Frame Statuettes. Thank to such a multi-layered, diverse presentation audiences get to know the specific character of each film school, the cultural issues typical for particular countries and their characteristic means of expression. 2010 edition of the festival presenting the output of the young filmmakers will be for the second time held in Płock. Film will be assessed by 2 Jury chapter, a professional one and the student one.

Young Cinema Art Festival has been organized by the Cinema Art Foundation (www.cinemaart.pl) since 2006. In 2009 we moved from Warsaw to Płock. Each year the event gains greater popularity among the audience and receives acclaims on the media. That is why we go to the greatest lengths in order to ensure the development of the event in our new location.

The Young Cinema Art, World Student Film Festival is mainly dedicated to the young filmmakers. It aims to present the best diploma films and most interesting film etudes by students from all over the world. We aspire to familiarize the audience with the output of the best world film schools and to provide a platform of cooperation between the young filmmakers and the representatives of the foreign film education.

We would like the meetings held within the festival to inspire the young Polish filmmakers and to contribute to the establishment of fruitful cooperation and emergence of interesting international projects.
Last but not least, we offer our audience a unique chance to see inspirational short films from all over the world that they will not have a chance to see anywhere else!
